Drop Request Form

Please note - Our drop deadline is changing for the Fall 2026 term starting on August 5:

Summer 2026 term: You must submit your drop request by the end of the term (see term dates).
Fall 2026 term and beyond (starting August 5): After the midterm deadline (see term dates) you have 5 business days to submit this form.

For the Fall 2026 term, this form is due on Friday, December 4, 2026.

Drop Policy:

If you have completed work beyond the midterm, you are not eligible to drop and a grade will be reported on your transcript.

If you have not worked beyond the midterm and would like to drop your course now, please fill out the Drop Request Form. The last day to submit a drop must be requested by the term end date.

If you have not completed any work beyond the midterm and you do not complete the course, you will automatically not receive a final grade and it will not be recorded on your transcript. In summary, there’s no record of you having taken the course. You will only receive a notification of having dropped the course if you fill out the Drop Request Form.

A drop is not the same as a refund. Refunds are not issued for dropping a course outside of the refund policy. Refer to UC Scout’s Policies page.

If you request to be dropped from an AP On Demand course after paying for the AP exam, you will be automatically removed from the AP exam roster, and no refunds will be issued for the AP exam.

I want to be dropped from the course

I agree I have not completed work beyond the midterm. I would like to be dropped from the class, with no grade shown on my transcript. There will be no record that I took this class.
